East

New York

Known for its diverse cultural scene, New York has to take the first spot in the list. With so many things to see and do around its capital city, you’ll never be short of activities.

Constantly evolving, the Big Apple is the place to be for sightseeing. Take in the towering skyscrapers along Gotham’s bustling streets, or head over to the cosmopolitan length of Manhattan to catch a show at Broadway.

To soak up the diverse culture New York has to offer, make sure you head over to the Queens Night Market and feast at the weekly food festival, offering some of the best food from around the world.

Boston

If history is something you’re interested in, consider visiting Boston. Between the beautiful architecture and unique culture, it’s easy to see why it’s a place many history buffs value. One of the most famous historical sites is the Freedom Trail. A 2.5 mile path through downtown Boston, where you’ll see 16 significant historical locations. Including the impressive USS Constitution and the beautiful ship that sits in Boston Harbour.

Boston is also home to the legendary Blue Man Group known for their unique music and art performance. The group’s motto ‘hard to describe, easy to love’ couldn’t be more true, and is a must-see.

Something you may not be expecting but is a must-do is whale watching (yes, really). If you’re visiting between April and October, sail into Boston Harbour for a cruise of a lifetime as you get the chance to search for humpback, finback, minke and pilot whales.

West

San Francisco

There’s no doubt that San Francisco is one of the most popular tourist destinations along the west coast. With its sparkling, windy and artsy dynamic, it’s a beautiful destination that’s easy to lose yourself in.

Soak up the sites and visit the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, Fisherman’s Wharf and Silicon Valley.

If nature is more up your street, take advantage of the one of a kind urban oasis at the San Francisco Botanical Garden. Reconnect with nature and delve in to the stunning collection of over 8,000 different types of plants from around the globe and 55 acres of pristine horticulture.

L.A.

If you’re looking for more of an insta-worthy experience, L.A is the place to be. Needing almost no introduction, Los Angeles in the centre of the nation’s film and television industry. With the iconic Hollywood Boulevard and tour of celebrity’s homes, you’re sure to be star-struck.

Though beautiful homes aren’t all the city has to offer. For truly stunning sights, make sure you visit the Griffith Observatory at golden hour, and head to Santa Monica for the sunset.

New Orleans

Located on the Mississippi River, New Orleans - affectionately known as the ‘Big Easy’ - is known for its round the clock nightlife, vibrant live-music and spicy cuisine reflecting its history as a melting pot of French, African and American cultures.

To fully experience the buzzing nightlife, hop down to the world famous Bourbon Street and Frenchman Street to get your fill of local drinks and atmosphere. If a more easy breezy vibe is what you’re looking for, take a steamboat up the mighty Mississippi river for a dinner jazz cruise or relaxed Sunday brunch.

Memphis

Home to the King of Rock himself, Memphis is a must-visit for the music lovers. There’s a whole host of musical landmarks to explore including Graceland, the Rock ‘n’ Soul Museum, Blues Hall of Fame and Stax Museum – so whatever your groove, there’s something for you to discover.

It’s not just the history of music Memphis is known for, as you can imagine there’s plenty of live music entertainment including B.B King’s Blues Club, Handy Park Pavilion and Minglewood Hall amongst plenty of other venues!
