Cabo San Lucas

Cabo San Lucas

Cabo San Lucas is known for being where the skies meet the sea with its unique mountain-desert-ocean environment. It’s the perfect place if you’re looking for a little bit of everything.

Snorkelling

Surrounded by white sands and blue seas, it’s Cabo San Lucas in the perfect place to snorkel. There’s a number of beautiful spots, but our favourite is Playa Chileno. The Chileno Reef – about a mile and a half out to sea from the popular Chileno Beach – is a paradise for snorkelers. It’s pristine water and stunning coral formations are brimming with marine life, including giant manta rays, starfish, urchins, eels and more.

Other Instagram worthy spots include Lover’s Beach, Hilton Cove, Cabo Pulmo and Playa Santa Maria.

Desert tour

If the land is more your vibe, there are plenty of independent companies offering Baja Desert tours by ATV or camel (or both) depending on your preferred speed. Journey across golden sands and mountain trails, exploring desert canyons and enjoy the views of ocean-side cliffs.

Helicopter tours

To fully take in those epic views, consider taking a helicopter tour to make the most of the unique landscapes Cabo San Lucas has to offer.

Puerto Vallarta

Jorullo Bridge

We hope you’re not scared of heights for this experience. Puerto Vallarta boasts the longest suspension bridge in Mexico – the Jorullo Bridge. 470m long and hanging 150m over the Cuale River, crossing it is an adventure you’ll never forget. Because of it’s immense length it’s best to be travelled by ATV, and there are many tour companies to choose from.

ATV Adventure

Speaking of ATVs, the thrill of driving your own ATV into the mountain jungles in Puerto Vallarta is a must. Splash through shallows lakes and traverse the wild landscape for an epic off-road adventure.

Zona Romántica

To relax and take in the culture of Puerto Vallarta, Zona Romántica is the place to be. A trendy area with a lively atmosphere, it offers quaint courtyard cafes and contemporary art galleries on cobblestone streets. The nearby Los Muertos Beach draws locals and visitors to its broad, curved pier which looks stunning at night.

Cancún

Visit Chichen Itza, Ik-Kil & Suytun Cenote

For truly stunning natural landscapes in Mexico, first place has to go to to Cancún. Whether it’s the awe-inspiring Mayan history of Chichen Itza, or the blue waters of Suytun Cenote you’ll see the wonders the natural world has to offer. Though around 2 and a half hours outside of Cancún, it’s well worth the day trip to visit all three locations, and there’s plenty of tours offering the opportunity.

Street food tour

For the foodies, Cancún offers some of the best street food in Mexico, particularly Parque las Palapas, the main downtown park located between Tulum Avenue and Yaxchilan Aventure. In the park you’ll find plenty of free-standing food carts and a section of food stalls as well. Our favourites are Tamales, Empanadas and Chilaquiles.

Las Coloradas

Top spot for the most Instagram-able place (in our opinion) goes to Las Coloradas. The stunning naturally occurring pink lake is truly something you need to see in person to believe. Once a hidden gem of Mexico it’s recently seen a rise in popularity because of how selfie worthy it is. If you visit, try to plan it on a day when it hasn’t recently rained to make the most of it.
